First, the silence. Then the smell of freshly ground coffee drifting out through the door while you settle on the steps with your cup and let the birdsong become the only clock of the morning. Here, in the open spaces between bogland and pine forest, is a cabin rental in Swedish Lapland where the days are ruled by light and not by the clock. Nobody has anywhere to be. The day is yours.
The morning starts with coffee
The light wakes you, not an alarm. It takes a while before you get up, and when you do the coffee is already brewing in the kitchen a few steps away — everything on one floor, everything within reach. You carry your cup out to the steps and sit in the sun. The birds have been up for hours.
The main cabin
This is where you live — 6–8 people — under the dark lacquered ceiling where it all runs together: the kitchen, the table by the window, and the sofa you sink into once the fire has caught. Because the cabin is all on one level nobody has to go looking for anyone, and the evenings gather around the table by themselves. It isn't large. It's just enough.
The guest cabin
Sometimes you want to be close, sometimes a little apart. The guest cabin sits a short walk away with its own kitchen and bathroom, so whoever wakes early can have the quiet while the others sleep on. You share the days and keep your own pace.
The forest takes over
In the afternoon the forest takes over. You walk a loop between pines and bogland, and the scent of needles comes back with you in your clothes. As evening settles you hear the owl call from the edge of the woods, and you light the lamps, one after another. This far north you know the summer nights barely grow dark — and that winter, when it comes, gives you starry skies you've forgotten to look for. Nobody asks what time it is.

- No key to collect. You get a code and can arrive whenever suits you, even late.
- Bed linen and towels
- Available to borrow for a small fee. Bring your own if you prefer.

- Can be booked separately. For stays longer than 7 nights cleaning is added automatically.
- Motorhome and caravan
- Both welcome. Mention it in the form and we'll make sure there's space.

Where is the cabin?
In southern Lapland, surrounded by forest and lakes. Roughly 20 km to Storuman, 70 km to Vilhelmina, 130 km to Tärnaby and Hemavan, and 230 km to Umeå and the coast.
What is the exact address?
We send the exact address by email to everyone on the list once the plan for the 2027 season is ready. We want our guests to have their peace and quiet, so we don't share the location openly here. You'll have everything you need well before your stay.
How do I book?

What does a night cost?
Between $55 and 120 per night, depending on the season and how long you stay.
What is included in the cabin rental?
The cabin sleeps 6–8 guests, with a separate guest cabin with its own kitchen and bathroom, digital locks, bed linen and towels available for a small fee, and space for a motorhome or caravan.
When does booking open for the 2027 season?
Dates for the 2027 season are released gradually. Those on the interest list will hear from us first with prices and directions.
